Social Soundscape

Working with Stink Studios in Brooklyn and Dinahmoe Studios in Stockholm, Social Soundscape sought to create a visual heat map and unique soundtrack of real-time tweets at SXSW 2014.

The web app matched live geotagged twitter data to the instrument sound assigned to the city block where the tweet originated. The more tweets from a certain place, the louder the sound in the Soundscape and the taller the visualization. We created a live, ever-changing map of SXSW activity, as determined by social interaction.

I was the Senior Interactive Producer on this project, managing a team at Y&R New York as well as two production companies in two time zones to complete this project. It was awesome. One of my favorites.
