YouTube Coldplay

To promote Coldplay’s 2011 Madrid performance as part the American Express Unstaged series on YouTube, we created an immersive media experience. The concert was streamed on eight video screens in Times Square, in the YouTube masthead, in banners on the biggest music sites and on mobile devices – all at the same time. History was made with the first ever live concert simulcast in Times Square and first ever live stream banners on premiere music sites (e.g. Billboard, RollingStone). Click through rate was 5x the industry standard. I worked with our media team to produce all the creative ad units across the channels, and coordinated with production partners to facilitate the streaming feeds.
