WeTransfer Ideas Report: Bridging Two Worlds
The annual WeTransfer Ideas Report, one of the world’s largest studies on the creative workforce, explores the evolving landscape of creativity through insights from over 10,000 people across 135 countries. This year's theme, “Between Two Worlds,” captures the tension between old and new ways of living, and the shifting dynamics of control and challenge in the creative realm.
As Lead Designer, I developed the creative direction and visual identity for the report, drawing inspiration from the contrasts between online and offline, digital and analogue. My approach focused on reflecting the tension and duality of these changing dynamics, emphasizing the 'grey' areas and blurred lines between these worlds.
The project involved creating a flexible toolkit to extend the brand across various touchpoints, including the website, PDF, data visualisations, social assets, wallpapers, events, and emails. The goal was to highlight the report’s insights, ensure easy access to downloads, and introduce engaging interactive experiences. While maintaining some elements intrinsic to WeTransfer’s brand, such as fonts and core shapes, I aimed to develop a distinct visual identity for this year’s report.
Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with Creative Directors Nessim Higson and Diana Alcausin, who oversaw the motion components. The core team also included Gabriel Santiago (design), Giulian Drimba and Simon Riisnæs Dagfinrud (development), Madeline Masarik (copy), and other talented creatives. My role encompassed lead design, creative concept development, art direction, and brand integration from start to finish.
