MBTA Redesign- Senior Capstone Project

For my senior capstone Project at Tufts, I created a proposal for the renovation of an abandoned MBTA line located underneath City Hall Plaza. Drawing inspiration from the public works projects of Japanese Architect Shigeru Ban, which offer a glimpse into the interplay between aesthetic forms and the human psyche, I incorporated elements of eco-conscious design to promote increased bio-sustainability, functionality, and public experience in an area with an outdated and overlooked public transportation system.
