Cadbury - Secret Santa - Year 3

In the 3rd Year of the campaign, we brought the Cadbury Secret Santa experience online. For Cadbury's biggest holiday campaign yet, we invited the public to send chocolate secretly to someone they loved online. By building awareness through broadcasting new edits of the TVC as well as through OOH, DOOH and Social we were able to have over 25,000 sign ups on the first day of the online activation. Once on the website, users were invited to sign up via email, and join the queue to talk to one of our postal workers. Allowing them to send a maximum of two bars to people they wanted to surprise this Christmas. After sending their bars, the users were able to record a secret message to send to their receiver using our AR mask filter so their identity remained a secret. The activation also ran on Cadbury Gifts Direct and at specific Tesco stores in case people didn't manage to get in the queue in time (it was harder than getting Glastonbury tickets I heard people say). For every chocolate bar we sent out as part of the campaign we sent one to a food bank in the Trussell Trust network, spreading that Christmas cheer just a little further this year. We also happened to get some fairly famous faces talking about the Campaign and the Trussell Trust partnership: Victoria Beckham, players of Liverpool Football club, Mollie King and Professor Green to name a few.
