Victoria's Secret – Bikini Mixer
Victoria’s Secret, in an effort to grow it’s swim business, leaned into swimsuit separates believing customers wanted to create their own bikini.
Traditional e-commerce collection pages, while familiar for shopping large product assortments, are not optimized for quick and easy comparison of products side-by-side, a behavior we believed was necessary when encouraging customers to build “outfits.”
We developed the Bikini Mixer enabling VS customers to effortlessly mix, match and mismatch bikini top and bottom combinations in the Beach Sexy separates collection. Once her perfect bikini was created, she could purchases it directly from the experience and share it via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or email.
With in a few months after launch, the experience drove a 2x conversion rate over it’s standard collection page counterpart, and outperformed expectations in demand.
